Despite some strong winds today I managed to get out for a bit of bug hunting.
The wasp spider has a distinctive zig-zag that is woven into it's web.

beautiful capture..haven't seen them around the yard in years..we always called them writing spiders.. have seen the webs with what looked like the letter ( W ) in the center.. It was made larger that the other detail it made in the web...
