This was taken during sunrise on the last morning of my recent break in the lakes. Although the lake looks tranquil, when I arrived at this spot I had to quickly set up and bag a few images as the mist was moving towards me quite quickly. The composition is a little unbalanced for my liking, but I like the atmosphere and simplicity of the image. As soon as the mist arrived the waves came too. End of session Sad

Lovely composition ~ personally I would have applied a vignetting effect by darkening the edges.

Thanks for commenting Albert, appreciate you taking time to. I thought about a vignetting effect briefly, but you lose the little details such as the reeds breaking the surface in the bottom right and the cloud hanging over the hills.
