The Cellarium is over 300ft long and has the River Skell flowing underneath it at the far end. I had to be patient to get a people free shot but it was worth it. when the Abbey was in use this is where the monks ate, slept and socialised. Amazingly the roof survived and is intact even though the Abbey was plundered for its stone after the Dissolution of the Monastries ordered by Henry VIII.

Hope you like this and the versions

Ian

I love v2 , it add just enough texture not to bee too obviously manipulated.

I think it's a great shot, and well worth the wait. It would be interesting to know what method(s) you used to achieve each version, personally I prefer V3, like V1, but find V2 a bit overcooked, but I'm guessing opinions will be pretty divided, which will be interesting in itself.

Great that this vaulted part of the Abbey survived, and your shot shows off all the detail so well..
For myself it's V 1 that ticks all my boxes.......I am less keen on the other versions.
Ronnie.

I used LucisArt on V2 and V3. I made the versions considerably different to get an opinion. I prefer V1 which is untouched apart from a crop to centralise the vaulted ceiling.

V2 and V3 are horrible. V1 needs a little bit of sharpening but not much Smile

V1 is by far the best IMO. Lovely symmetry and depth.

V1 for me a good natural shot. Well done. Smile
