With the black back I make the assumption flash lit in a light tent or indoor studio. Great shot and one I would be keen to replicate. Regards

Thanks for your votes and comments.
The flower was shot on a white light box. The image was changed to LAB colours in CS5 and the lightness channel inverted. I changed the colours of the centre to blend in.
