Just trying out my new Fuji X10. It's a superb little retro styled camera ideally suited to carrying around for street photography - My D800 is just a bit too obvious. It's great to be able to whip out the X10 when a nice image presents itself. I was aiming to get the concentric rings hovering above the shoppers in Drakes Circus shopping mall in Plymouth, but then the lady in the blue coat walked across and added an extra direction of movement to the shot. I spent just a a couple of minutes processing in lightroom, desaturating slightly, boosting the contrast a smidge and adding a bit of a vignette, but the dynamic range of the X10 is quite impressive so details like the roof came out quite easily without any major PP

Thanks cats_123. The Fuji X10 isn't quite up there with DSLR quality but I didn't really buy it to compete with them - it's a different beast altogether. It's got a good feel to it which makes you want to take photos... which is what it's all about really. My Nikons are work horses but the X10 is my new best buddy ![]()
