The view from my tent on top of Mannlichen, Grindelwald, Switzerland at some nasty early hour. Taken on a manual SLR with Velvia and without my contact lenses in. I'm discovering what a pain in the backside Velvia is to scan properly - had to fiddle around a bit in p'shop to make it look like something vaguely near how awesome the slide is when held up to the light.

Ah happy days - I've been visiting this area since (gulp) 1969! Climbed the Monch then.... Great view, I am surprised just how much snow there is still on the peaks - but these are the north faces. It must have been rather cold up on the Mannlichen! It’s a pity that there was no light on the foreground, it would have helped to get some colour on the grass. Best wishes, Adam
