This was taken during the last hour of the sunset, the sun was setting behind me with tide just going down. As I walked along the beach I notice this rock formation near shore and wanted to catch the waves going over it, I wonder if this rock was larger 10 years ago. I will have to come back to this location during after fall, because the sun was block by a mountain peak as it got lower to the horizon. Thank you...

The play of the water and teh soft blurring looks very beautiful in the foreground area. You also have an interesting background with the palm trees, the buildings and the cloud formations. So a lot for the viewer to enjoy. However apart from the palm trees the colours are very light and pastel-like which gives a certain unatural feel to the picture. I am not sure whether this was your intention or not.

Aloha Catherine, thank you for the critique. I really appreciate it, and it only helps me with my photography. I did try to get the painting feel to it, but i do agree with you on the pastel colors is to unnatural. I try to do little processing (canon software) as possible but I guess the palms and house needs work. Again, thank you for your time. Mahalo, Greg
