I like this very much. Trying to think why, but can't quite fathom why, except that it holds my attention. Definitely the girl's expression, maybe because my eyes are lead to her eyes (the pale lines at the top RHS help, and I think the softish focuse elsewhere in the image maybe). And of course there is something "unusual" in the old style case and especially the hat. And maybe the colours too. Basically I don't know "the reasons" for sure, but I do like it a lot.

Think Black bird express my thoughts on this image.. also kinda nostalgic.. used to have a hat like that in the mid 80's...
