My abstract image of Sophie Riders eye sculpture Sophie Ryder strength and visual impact of stunning wire wall drawings, dislocated images of animal and human eyes, hands and feet, alongside vast free-standing wire sculptures will command the challenging space of the Longside Gallery. And in the open-air at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park a series of bronzes explore Ryder's iconic themes of the anthropomorphic hare, horse, dog and minotaur, reflecting her abiding interest in the physicality and mythology of these creatures.
