Wasn't this recently voted as the world's best piece of new architecture? It's different, but....!!

Well composed but the processing isn't to my taste — the HDR seems too aggressive and there's a noticeable sharpening halo around the building. I think this highlights the main problem with this building: the rusted iron cladding looks great in brilliant sunshine under a deep blue sky but, in the flat light of the northern English autumn and winter (well, almost the whole year, apart from a couple of nice weeks), it just looks dull and flat.

I've tried to photograph it myself a couple of times and never got anything satisfactory. Sad

Like the light and colours in this Brian, got a slight Halo round the structure from the processing but otherwise it works well
