Hurray it stopped raining just long enough to nip out and take a few shots today
This is as I found it except I sneaked over and moved the shovel to the right a bit!

Great composition and simplicity of colour.

Love the colour in the metalwork.
Well done in seeing and capturing the potential in this shot - so many people just wouldn't see anything worth photographing.
I just love this shot. Well worth taking the time to view it large. As has already been said, well done for seeing the potential in, what to most would be, a pile of dirty objects.
I would guess that this is Large Prairie No 5164 on the washout pit at Bridgnorth!
Sneaked in did you? Naughty ) Nice shot though.
Superb image, I like the restricted tones
large is excellent!
great composition here : )
great oldie' bits
Great shot I really like this.
very nice shot, the splash of blue and the position of the shovel make this a good shot.
you will become a train spotter
Nice close up
A truly impressive capture, well composed and with a good tonal range. Splendid work indeed.
Hi Lyn, love the composition and flavour to this.
Good study of machanical power in repose.

cracking image, and welcome back..i thought you had disappeared!
One of the quite moments behind the scenes.Tones and composition sympathetic to the image. Industrial blues Lynn. Ron.
Well observed and composed - effective treatment too, nice work!
A superb texture, tone, light/shade image that really reflects the nature of steam engine power. Bruce
I like your work, I'm new to photography and I like the way you take a shot that just isnt a photograph but an atmosphere as well which is what I try to achieve. I like mixing photography with art to create dreamscapes if that makes sense. Anyway keep up the good work.... !!
This must have taken you hrs to composed this image. It is worth every effort.
