Just a point ... its not a John Deere ... Its a Ferguson TE20 (before the days of Massey Ferguson) - sorry I've got one! By: jeouray |
Thats a blast from the past! Used to get one of these from Floriana to Selina back in the 70's! Not sure the colour has changed since then! Always remember it was like getting into a shrine with pictures of Saints and rosary beads hanging from the mirror. Happy Days! By: wessyfiesta |
To be honest I only snapped it for identification purposes and the only camera I had with me was attached to the mobile ... I was quite surprised (& chuffed) with the results! Mind - the mobile has a 5 megapixel camera on it whilst the Nikon D50 SLR I normally use is only 6.5 so not a great deal of difference! By: IOWAndy |
You may well be right re ID as my Boys Book of Knowledge only listed the 4 spotted one and it seemed to fit ... At least I got the Chaser bit right! The book did say that the Males were blue so figured it was female but wasn't sure. By: IOWAndy |
Can't make up my mind about this one. Pleasing shot right enough however it does look doctored ... Quite strong lighting on the model but no corresponding light on the flowers / grass which look quite dull. The light on the model is strong enough to create a shadow on her torso ... but no shadow of the model on the ground. By: bill_photo |
Reminds me of trying to get a shot of the guy on the bike with a skeleton in a sidecar attached! Not easy as he wanted Euro's everytime you lined up a shot. By: brixtonclimber |
Cracking capture! Love the fine detail of every individual feather. By: drjskatre |

Just thought its colours are glorious! The irridescent greens / blue really shimmer in the sunlight. Quite a lot of them hanging about the open air eating areas looking for titbits etc ... only this one had it's eye on my full english! By: IOWAndy |
Excellent Capture - well timed. Andy By: hannapple |

Yes managed to get a couple of head shots - followed this one for about 2 hours through the bush - trying to get the ever ellusive "National Geographic" shot however .... By: IOWAndy |
Great Capture. I went to Hawaii to see these wonderful animals but didn't get anything half as good as this! Well done. By: gez_c |
