A worms eye view of my new found favourite trees Smile

Taken last night at dusk, 5mins exposure with a bit of flash painting.

Fantastic composition expert exposure... well done, a cracker of a shot.

Yeah, I'd love to see a big version of this too. Great composition (especially with the second tree) and colours.
I see from tags it's flash and long exposure...are you willing to share any more details? Smile

Thanks Nic.
It's a 5 mins exposure @ f6.3 iso 100.
I used a 550ex flashgun set to 1/2 power and flashed the tree 10 times from multiple angles.
I also used a torch to add a bit of light to the distant tree. It took me quite a few attempts to get this one right and I also gained a cricked neck setting up the tripod!

Re. the moon Nic, it can make a huge difference, depending on it's phase and length of exposure it can make a night shot look like it was taken during the day.
