This time last year we were on our first holiday in the Outer Hebrides.We saw some Eriskay ponies on Eriskay - they were all white - not many surviving now.
This little fellow was on Loch Druidbeg Nature Reserve in South Uist -
I thought he was lovely.They seem quite tame.
Gingerdelight showed us a Kerry Bog Pony not so long ago who was lovely too.
A change from my flowers!

What a delightful pony with that shaggy coat and exceedingly long mane: guess it will need such given the winter conditions and winds in the outer Hebrides.
Very nicely captured shot, attractively lit and with exposure spot on.

God colours even better texture..

Thanks for all the comments."Ugly" is right in saying
I should have left the pony a bit more space to move into
but I was a bit nervous getting so close and not sure how the animals would react!
