Mighty Caernarfon is possibly the most famous of Wales's castles. Its sheer scale and commanding presence easily set it apart from the rest, and to this day, still trumpet in no uncertain terms the intention of its builder Edward I.

Begun in 1283 as the definitive chapter in his conquest of Wales, Caernarfon was constructed not only as a military stronghold but also as a seat of government and royal palace.

Quite stunning and I would assume there is a fair amount of work in this level of processing.

Most of it was done due to multiple images and the low cloud cover, but with just enough touches to make the picture stand out, glad you like it.

A stunning HDR in my eyes, how many exposures did you use for this one? I've tried with limited success at this process but you nailed it big time..PhilTongue

Only 3 Phil...If I had a sturdier tripod I would go for more...but the low light made for the best results for the reflections.
