I would crop to portrait too. Crop out the legs seemingly dangling from the tree foliage and the bench showing under the batsmans armpit. The light on the subject is perfect.

I think its wonderful. Beautiful subjects, beautifully shot.
I think the light hair to the right helps to balance the space on the left. Makes the effect of the off-centre composition really work for me.
Personally, I would be chuffed to bits if it was my shot.

Personally, I like the softer water from the longer exposure. Lovely light and colours. It would benefit a click or two with the sharpen tool, just to make the bridge crisp.

This has a great atmosphere. As has been said, cloning out the top right branch would leave it cleaner. Also, just to 'whiten' the whites a little, but I do like the hazy bluegrey feeling to the snow in the overall image.
A square crop would look nice, taking out some foreground to achieve this.
Impressive from a phone. Not alot wrong with the image or effect.

Normally I would think the background was a bit fussy for the beautiful butterfly main subject, BUT, this is such a gorgeous colour that it compliments the shot.
