I saw this Ewe with its sweet smile and earrings and wanted to record it as a wool fashion model.
There is some processing done, not least giving her blue eyes and enlarging them a bit. But also the 50% grey overlay layer I tend to use for dodge and burn on most things now; Took out a few stray hairs and a inelegant blade of grass.
Hope you like it - Well i did not get to shoot much in Wales and Worcestershire on last weeks holiday.
If you like sheep lots then there are 10 more including the orig of this one and a double headed one.

Graham . . . ?
. . . Why did I call you Graham . . . ? !
Sorry Stuart, how long have we been talking to each other on here?
Its a weird old night eh, I never expected to upload sheep here.
No worries Brendan, one of my brother in laws is called Graham so its close enough ![]()
The enlarged eyes are quite unnerving, Stuart. Very clever and interesting manipulation. Love to know where and how you got that particular idea.
Dave
Hi Dave,
I'm trying to do more fashion and portrait techniques, but only had a sheep to work on. So I tried to apply some of the ideas i've been learning in portraits to this woolly model.
Sheep seem to have very little going for them with their scraggy coats and tiny head & eyes - So i wanted to enlarge the eyes a bit and see what other ideas could map across to it.
Its actually made people more interesting again as the smoothness of skin is more interesting with light, I guess this would also apply to short haired well groomed muscular horses. But sheep don't really hold much interest for me by themselves.
Thanks Nonur, i agree with you too.
Cheers
Stuart
Like what ewe've done here, even the inclusion of the two headed lamb.
