I was wandering around a local grave yard and found this beautfiul cross disappearing into a fir tree. it is indicative of the state of repair of the grave yard. It looks to me as though there is a conversation going on between them.
I also like the way the light hits the top of the cross and the carving of the leaves.

I like this, the mix of man-made and living; it's the way I prefer graveyards - not too manicured, allowing nature to dominate the atmosphere. A good place to rest.
