Excuse my ignorance, not worked with a ringflash before but I thought they where used not to produce shadows? Trying to get the basics of studio work under my belt and failing lol Smile

Love the image but Im seeing a bit of noise in the background that might be jpeg artifacts?

Tommy, I wanted to get that shadow - you'll notice that he's evenly lit, it's not on him but the background. I could have asked him stand a bit further away so the shadow would have been less obvious.

I really like this....I think the shadow is a postitive in this image also... Nice looking model. Maybe should have carried the guys tan from his face down to his chest??...but that's me being a beautician, not a photographer....lol.
