I do prefer this crop, it accentuates the dappled light on the building and those golden reflections.

Missed the first one, but this is a cracker, Peter. Love the bright Autumnal foliage , and the house does not look out of place.

I've just come back on site Peter and having just looked at the original, you've made a much better image by cropping that sky.
A house I particularly would love to spend a week or two in, any time of the year.
