Proud to have Served

Proud to have Served by NDODS

Beautifully photographed. I think this is a lovely reflection on your and others' past. A quiet reminder also that there are many still serving and many in need of the help of your chosen charities.

What a wonderful idea. Do please keep the pictures of these coming - I'll never get the chance to see them for myself. Very nicely photographed. Of the two I think the way you have framed V2 works best for me.

Exchange Place

That's a jolly nice photograph. Interesting to note how much office space the financial district can leave unused.

A Long Drop

A Long Drop by jeanie

It may not show it to its biggest wow value, but for me I love this pov. The light and colouring is outstanding and the way you have framed the subject with the stormy sky over the hills in the background to offset that light is head and shoulders above the standard type of waterfall photograph. Definitely in my short list.

V1. The closer boarder doesn't work for me.

What a wonderful photograph. One of the best I've seen of this pier.

Boy from the Rona tribe

Boy from the Rona tribe by rdn

I think you could crop it quite hard - to just below his hair line, but above his ear, probably on about a 5 x 4 crop. The angle of his head and the upward cast of his eyes could probably take it. Having said that, I really like it as it is. Beautifully framed, excellent colour - and here I think the background colour works very well - a slightly uncertain but curious expression, and a very pleasing soft sharpness to the photograph. The only thing I think I would do is edit out the white speck above his ear.
