Rolling snow-storms brushing across Grundarfjordur Bay, NW Iceland. I used the clear shallow stream as foreground interest and lead, and simply waited patiently for the clouds to break a little and illuminate across the bay...

Love the movement in the water. The distant rocks (mountains) are great, too. You've lost a little detail in the sky and one of the distant mountains, though - could you recover this in your raw file?

Stunning......Mick

Cheers all - Sue, I can see no loss of detail in the mountains. The sky seems to have suffered a little somehow in the upload - all is fine on the full-sized jpeg however. It might be worth checking your screen for brightness.

Cracking shot James, the positioning of the stream in the frame to lead the eye into the image is spot on and the mono treatment suits it well!
