Welcome to EPZ Jamii.
You havent provided your shot details, or what you wanted to achieve with this, so providing critique is really shooting in thee dark. Its essential to provide this information so we have something to go on.
Otherwise its an image you either like or not, and we can be inadvertently unfair if we comment negatively, not knowing your intent.
As a new member, a few things to know:
Please load you exif data, or shot settings. We need aperture, speed, iso, lens, focal length, and camera and lens model. If you dont know how to get this, just lets us know and we may be able to help. This allows us to provide the best possible feedback.
There are features in this gallery you may want to use: Theres a "Like" icon beside a comment; and theres the small "Nominate for Constructive Critique" link at the bottom of every comment. The Critique Team approves or denies submissions for constructive Critiques, and members can accrue points. Critique Team members cannot approve comments on their own feedback. When you provide constructive feedback, you can also start collecting points, which can mean you are improving to the point where you can see how to improve other members shots. To qualify as Constructive, the feedback has to improve you image, your skill, your knowledge of the photographic process, or post processing. Comments like nice shot, love the scenery, etc dont qualify.
Heres goes anyway.
The hair and make up is very well done. The composition, with the model looking to the camera right and being close to the right edge of the frame is a little jarring, and would look better if she was further from the right, as Frank has pointed out.
her skin appears washed out (might be intentional) and overexposed, and as an example, Ive shown a mod with a little mote tone and colour in the skin, with the added space.
hi there, this photo was for a national hairdressing competiton. the subject was futuristic. the outline was pale skin, heroin stature, odd head shape, captured in an odd way. makeup was white dust across eyes nose and lower forehead. hair was cut to perfection during shoot and the back drop is the original one which i had placed two bright lights behind backdrop to give the hair definition. the angle of her head was to show the hair in its best angle. thanks or your suggestions.
how do i find the ,odifications
