Wet day again but "Guide to Great Photography" arrived so set down to improve my flower photography! 200 images later this was the best one somehow I feel I should know just what settings to use but its trial and error. Getting used to the Sigma lens but find despite the tripod images arent coming out as sharp as I expected. Any comments welcome.

Lovely sunflower. Excellent lighting gives a nice texture to the shot.

Nice colours, angle and crop.
The 105 is very sharp, close the aperture down until you get satisfied. JNC
