Met this very nice gentleman the other evening at our studio. He is a minister at a local church and I asked him to adopt this reverent pose.

Set the lighting very carefully to hold the light back on one side. To get catchlights in both eyes my handy assistant held a small mirror just out of camera shot to reflect the light into both eyes. We used one light with a shoot through brolly to one side and an angled silver reflector to the other. Manual setting, ISO 100, F20. 18-135mm lens.
