I really like this beautiful lilly! The composition and sharpness are fab - a strong and compellingly detailed image for me. I wonder if a diffuser or something improvised could have softened the light a little?

You are right it would have done. The contrast between soft white petals and bright sunlit leaf with deep shadowed veins was the challenge for me. I have a north facing window that just did not give the same impact with the light.

i ,oike this , the crop is good.the flare on the leaf to the left of the shot is distraccting
