Just back from a lovely trip out to see the snow in Assynt and Wester Ross and hopefully picked up some pics to keep me going for a few days while there Smile

Only problem was that some of the best snow was in places where it was impossible to stop because the lay-bys hadn't been cleared, but we still managed to get a few shots, including this view across to Stac Pollaidh.

Hope you're all enjoying your festive break Smile

I have to dig my car out of the street and back in again every flaming day and you drive half way across Scotland and complain about a parking bay not having been cleared

Golly, was this taken yesterday (27th)? It's much better weather than I had returning home! It seems on hearing reports yesterday than whilst there we had the best of weather. A very beautiful wintry scene, Sue, and having been up there and done that, I can appreciate more the coldness and the difficulty in getting in the right spot to capture these. Really excellent bit of work.

Stunning piece of work Sue - you REALLY are lucky to live in such a photogenic area. Fabulous FG and those mountains in the BG are truly spectacular - LARGE IS A MUST SEE Wink

One for my faves & shortlist.

All the best for new year

Stunning shot Sue; a great bit of light over the ice and love the spikey details of the foreground.
