This is a photo from late afternoon today. The area I often go to was totally frozen. I stayed in the same area for about an hour trying to find different compositions and trying not to stand on snow I may have wanted to photograph. I was well wrapped up but I was starting to freeze at the end of the session and glad to get to the car.

both excellent exposures of the same scene, but for me it must be V2 the vignetting adds to fg definition in this lovely vista.

Lovely shot, Alan, and whilst being so obviously a winter scene, there is a beautiful warmth to the whole image from that great sky.

Version 1, definitely. V2 looks a tad overcooked for my tastes. Why gild the lily? Wink
