Another shot of this gorgeous Freesia today............I just love these flowers,their fragrance is so delicate yet so intense at the same time and these particular ones had such large trumpet shaped flowers it wasn't difficult to get some good close up images that showed all the detail in the stamens and petals. Taken with natural daylight using manual focus and mirror lock-up for pin sharp clarity.Other than the fading out of the lower part of the stem and the title border I haven't done a thing in post processing..........I do hope you like it.


LARGE & F11 is much better........you can almost smell it Wink

Extraordinarily good detail and esp. petal texture captured in this image, Jane: the freesias have such a heady scent and make good although at times challenging subjects, but you have coped so well here.
