One from back in March this year. Taken from the weir on Grasmere looking towards Grasmere village...........my 70-200mm bringing the russet and golds of the fells and waterline up close and personal

The winter colours, enhanced by the sun, look superb at that time of the year: I know this spot quite well having stayed in Grasmere on a number of occasions, and this view across the water to Helm Crag looks splendid, and so much more attractive that the greens of summer which is what I have obtained.
