One from back in March this year. Taken from the weir on Grasmere looking towards Grasmere village...........my 70-200mm bringing the russet and golds of the fells and waterline up close and personal Wink

The winter colours, enhanced by the sun, look superb at that time of the year: I know this spot quite well having stayed in Grasmere on a number of occasions, and this view across the water to Helm Crag looks splendid, and so much more attractive that the greens of summer which is what I have obtained.
