Apologies to those who commented and voted on “Reflected Sails” but I spotted a flaw I was not happy with!
Iv’e decided to upload a shot that had an airing before. The last version had con-trails in but quite a few folks decided it would look better without, so I removed them and I have also done a little work on and around the lighthouse. Give it your worst.... Thanks Bill ![]()
Last upload for a while folks.

Pretty yummy, Ed.!
Personally I prefer images without contrails and tend to remove them if it's possible without losing my mind (some may say it's been lost for years, but that's another story
), but alas, they are a fact of life....
It looks to me that you removed them extremely well, to my eye; perfectly, in fact.
Ok; now here's "my worse"
Worse should be worst !! But that's spelling and grammar...not photography, so I'll shut up! ![]()
Have a nice break ![]()
Bill

You've removed the contrails expertly, leaving to my mind a very different 'feel' to the image. I liked the original because graphically the contrails/ reflections added a diagonal element which I felt worked really well with the horizontal and vertical elements and their reflections. Now I can see that they also added a kind of energy/human interference. Without them you have a wonderfully tranquil and quiet image, almost dreamlike. So I've changed my mind - totally beautiful
.
