About Me

I'm middle-aged enthusiast / semi pro. I've recently added another Canon 7D to my ever growing collection of kit. It joins a Canon EOS 5D a 7D, a 40D, and a few L class lenses - Before that I was using a Canon EOS 300D (still kicking around somewhere in my box of toys). I use LightRoom 3 & Photoshop CS5 (although I've not even scratched the surface of either of these yet - and I've got a copy of LR 4 that I've not had time to install and migrate my photos to). Prior to the DSLRs I used a Canon EOS 50E (again, still in my box of toys) and before that used a Ricoh XR-X & Canon EOS 650. I'm a big fan of architectural photography and landscapes (but wouldn't claim to be any good at either...), and I enjoy experimenting with macro photography too (having now obtained a Canon MPE 65mm, I have amazed myself at some of the things that are now possible). I shoot Weddings too & the occasional private or commercial commission and enjoy taking photos just for the fun of it. I welcome any comments that will help to mould me into a better photographer or Photoshop-er - regardless of how brutally honest they are! - (and compliments are more than welcome any time too!)
