Oddly I prefer No.1 on my screen but no.2 on Maeves's screen.Hope that sorts it out for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys and V1 for me ........... I don't think the warped horizon in v2 works too well and the sun in v1 is maybe in a better place for the shadows

Thanks guys and you're dead right Nick .... I've taken a lot of ideas from (ssssssh) "t'other channel" for images like this but I applied them far too aggressively in the first version. But subtlety and finesse is something that doesn't come too naturally to us Brummies

The more subdued look -or should that be the more desolate look? - attracts me more, Dave. V2 is too bright and shiny for the subject matter.
