Hi, I thought I'd try a close crop with this one, you're always being told in mags etc to crop out dead space so here it is, thanks for looking, all comments welcome.

I would imagine that this lighthouse has had the most pics and clicks of any lighthouse here on EPZ!
But you can see why, there is something quite photogenic about it. Which I too, have succumb to in the past ![]()
Cheers, Paul
Excellent composition and crop Jason.
Well done.
Tom.
love the effect of the low light on this one, the grey sea and sky. A super shot,
Chris.

Fabulous shot Jase, thanks for your continued support Jason, I've been a bit tied up with moving and stuff and just getting back on line properly. helen
i think it depends on what you are trying to say with the image Jase, you can include the lighthouse as part of the scene, or you can use the lighthouse AS the image as in this case.
This is the best image of the lighthouse as far as i am concerned, really well detailed and the wave adds a bit of action to the scene. Nice stormy image and sharp, nice one mate!
Same lighthouse: different scene. Beautifully proportioned picture, the stalwart lighthouse is ready for anything; even the storms. I wonder if it is still manned. The Isle-of-Wight is now run without the men, as before they used to run out with Christmas goodies for them, but there is no one on it now!
Take care
