Taken on the same beach where the recent storm images
were photographed but this was in summer!
I've been delighted with the response to the storm images
and thank you one and all for votes, comments and mods.
I hope other members have benefitted from all the advice given to me.
Special thanks yesterday to Graham(digital-boi), Paintman for mods on yesterdays image.
Hope the sun is shining wherever you are today.

Good sharp image, perfectly exposed.
All I would suggest is to crop from the bottom just enough to remove that bit of rock that's nudging its way in, and also remove some from the left side just to tighten up the composition... not a lot, maybe just enough to give you a corner to corner diagonal with the rocks.
Have a play around and see what it looks like.

Yesterday it was mods for no reason in my view, today however I think the mod just tightens the composition a touch and improves it ever so slightly.

Yes, I think the tighter crop brings out the best of this. I like the interesting rock he is sitting on.
(the tool on the right in yesterday's image was a couple of lifting tongs.)

Gift Of The Seagull

A lonely seagull flies the winds
Majestic... soaring...gliding wings
A single screech sounds from the sky
Come fly with me... come here and fly

My spirit floats to be a part
I feel the beating of its heart
My soul, one with this bird of sea
Now knows the meaning to fly free

I feel the winds caress my soul
And soar the streams without a goal
My being trembles of delight
A treasure I received tonight

The seagull's flight of soaring high
The gift of what it means to fly

Regards Nathan
