Thank you for your votes and comments on yesterday's Large Emerald moth and especially to Isabel (Chinga) for her precious UA. All very much appreciated.

As you seemed to like yesterday's moth I have put another one up today. This is the beautiful Gold Spot moth posing nicely on a grass stem. It is a 3 shot focus stack.

They are actually remarkably compliant during the day time - having trapped them at night they are then quite happy to sit still in the daytime as long as they are somewhere where they feel happy. He didnt move a muscle Grin
