Love the symmetry and balance in your composition, Jason, the couple perfectly placed and the reflections so well recorded in the flat water.
Ronnie.

The framing by the trees gives a very intimate feel to this, Jason. Stunning reflections and what a delightfully tranquil scene this is. Makes you slow down mentally.

ONe needs to study this image, but it is worth the effort, the reflections are nearly as sharp and clear as the image itself!

Ooooo...gorgeous shot !!!....lovely reflection & quality....top notch !!

Not easy getting a good canal-scene !....seen one, seen 'em all ?....but this beauty has a certain quality that
lifts it from the mundane, into a wonderful Autumn scene.......

In fact I reckon it's worth a UA !!!....so be my guest !!.Grin

A beautiful and peaceful canalside scene, lovely autumnal colours and reflections. The trees are much more advanced than they are in Gloucestershire where they are only now just starting to turn

Ed - I will have to let you into a secret now - they are not more advanced and were actually still quite green - I used the "Indian Summer" preset in Colour Efex Pro to get this effect which I rather liked - I will post the original for anyone interested when I am back at my home computer.
