Thank you for you C&C's on yesterday's image and particularly to Willie (banehawi) for the mod. All much appreciated.

At the risk of boring you here is another from the same shoot and this time I have not cut its nose off and I seem to have managed to catch it in the act of filling its pollen sac - definitely more luck than judgement GrinGrin

Thanks for looking
Jason

An excellent image which captures plenty of detail in the bee. Susan

Another beauty, the head makes such a difference.

Mod loaded, same tweak, and a crop.

Regards

Willie

Even better than yesterdays, with space in front of the head, technically very good, nice and sharp and good DOF.
I find the grey spike in front of the head a bit distracting so I have done a mod where I have cloned it out for comparison. You may not like altering wildlife images, which I respect, but for me doing this is alright as there is no alteration to the main subject, the bee itself. I have also done a crop to focus more attention on the bee.
