Sparrowhawk (accipiter nisus)
We were roused by a heck of a lot of squawking and squealing coming from our very small back garden. My wife quickly moved the curtain to one side (she is good at that !!!) and called me. Fortunately I had a camera to hand. I managed to nip through the garage and, through the garage window which happily was open, I was able to fire off about 20 shots before he decided to pick up his meal and retire to a great big Oak next door to devour it. All hand held of course. No time for a tripod. I am quite pleased with the result and I hope you will be also.
As always my very grateful thanks for all c/c's given to the Stonechat and particular thanks to Lillian for her User Award.
