Thank you for all the views on "Watching Over" & special thanks to Kate for her advice.. ( I'm probably being a bit lazeeeee by not using elements to enchance my picsBlushBlush)
This shot is probably a bit dark to appeal on the thumb nail, but I'm quite pleased with it. & brings out the red carpet. It was taken inside the same church as my previous download.. I should add some words or tune to accompany my favourite Led Zep track... Wink
Thanks for looking
Michaela

All about the light. Catching the polished wood, catching the red carpet.
I reckon there's an equally strong alternative square composition in the left to middle of the frame, try it.

This is a great capture Michaela and the darkness just enhances the image rather then detract from it. Brilliant.

Really like this one Michaela - you have controlled the light very well with just enough on the edge of the stairs to make it really interesting. Good stuff.

The light and composition are wonderful in this! Good eye Smile

The red has come out perfect. Not too dark, not too light.

My first reaction was too dark, but the more I look, I can see how you've used control to capture the
staircase and the lovely red carpet.
The reflections on the staircase is lovely too.

Yes I think the carpet shows up well but I might crop off a bit of the dark area at the bottom and right hand side to enlarge the red carpet. Hope you don't mind the suggestion. Paul
