This is the Synie Canal just outside Elgin, Moray. I have been waiting ages to catch something interesting at this spot and when I least expected it there it was.

Wow what a powerful sky love the whole image. Went to Elgin last October and caught an amazing sky so dark and broody not as colorful as yours

The 50D is brill, I just love the quality it shoots re 15mgpx etc. It is so user friendly as well. Re 15mgpx one can crop a lot and not lose, likewise printing large is brill, all one needs for panoramics etc. Money well spent.
