Followed a tuition from this months edition of Digital SLR Photographer, not really in to this sort of thing, but it does teach you a bit about layers in CS2. I know it's not strictly a photograph but this sort of thing does teach you quite a bit. I used this image as a starting point

Practice makes perfect. I think the way this is presented works pretty well.

Nice mix of colours. I keep trying to settle down to this sort of thing, but then I reckon I'd rather be looking at this site instead!

Shades of Warhol and the Marilyn Monroe images. Loved the Warhol, like this.

Great stuff.....a really eye catching, cheerful piece of work. Smashing presentation too.

May not be a photograph, or is it, but it has a simplicity and bibrancy that attracts the eye. I like it.

Well done Stephen for doing the tutorial. I keep meaning to learn more and just never get around to it.
A great little composition with nice colours. I like the way that you have put a shadow round two sides of each print.
Nice one.

Hi Annete.

I've started finding these tutorials better than small college courses, especially the video ones that come with some mags, I've a great one on layers if you want me to email it to you. I learnt more in five minutes than I have in months using it.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
