As an exercise it was worth doing.
Try and get the egg exactly central and vertical,or completely offset 45˚
The colours shouldn`t work --but they do for a chocolate orange! 
With the text try aligning the second G in Egg with the S in Easter
Drop shadow is nice but the shadow of the egg falls the opposite way .
I know it was only a fun shot but i hope these points help in future.
