A mono version of last nights upload. I liked this one to much to hide it in the versions.
Thanks for looking.
I liked the colour version but prefer this Neil. More harmonious and better balanced to my eye.
Nice one Neil, I personally prefer this to the colour version (which was still fine)....
Thanks Dave, Keith, Clive.
Dave, Keith, I agree with you. It hides the colour casts brought about by the mixed lighting and shifts the emphasis away from the sign a bit. Makes me wonder why I bothered with the colour
Still has that power Neil. Mono is the way it would have been done in the 50's. Great stuff. Ron.
This is a cracking mono, so full of mood and charm.
It would have been an injustice to hide this as a variant, Neil!
what a fab shot ... love the crispness of the black!
A stunning mono Neil
A good mono Neil of the shed area but I will go with the colour just as I feel there is more detail in the shot but this is still a good un.
I can't decide. Both great shots. Maybe the colour version by a whisker.
A fine mono Neil, though a little of the detail in the mid>shadow end has filled in through the conversion and could do with a little lift ... for me anyway.
Still gets my vote though, don't get me wrong
