Yep a blue-footed booby. A bit of overcast light has helped with the exposure on this to keep the detail throughout. Not something to be counted on in the harsh light of the islands - which Island?

Yes, you are absolutely correct it is a blue-footed booby. I saw a red-legged partridge in my garden yesterday and that was probably on my mind!

This photo was taken on Espanola island, but we saw blue-footed boobies on other islands, too, (San Cristobal, North Seymour and Isabella).
