Whilst in a bird hide, I heard a dreadful squealing sound and assumed the Sparrowhawk had made a kill. To my amasement, it was a Stoat, in the midst of a kill. On pressing the shutter for a second shot, the Stoat escaped with the Rat.

Thats a great shot some people are never lucky enogh to ever see a stoat let alone capture on in the process of a kill great image,John.
