Not far from Agistri is a little uninhabited Islet called Moni a deserted island where once there was an attempt to make it into a resort. The remains of the development are prominent and derelict, a real eyesore. Junk is left lying around all over the place
I was told by my guide that because the owners of the development had allowed the Island to get into such a state disrepute the Greek government reclaimed the Island. Today it is a wildlife sanctuary and home to Peacocks, Deer, wild ponies, and Cretan goats.

Good pic! But it has a bit too much detail which distract from the center of focus (the dear).

Matt may be correct, but I still think you did a fantastic job of capturing the deer doing what it does best: blending in. =)

you can argue about cluttered composition but that is where the deer appeared. I love it as it is a truly natural shot with the deer melting into the landscape (as they do)
- beautiful well composed and presented image

Great capture. The deer seems to think he's invisible!

Yay! Wildlife wins!! So what that's then 1- 1,000,000? Could do with a few more wins there!

Lovely shot, with good composition. Good catch!

A beautiful picture, excellent colours and a fine Stag with a fine set of antlers. Nice light coming through to light up the greenery.

I also like the way your eyes have to search the deer out, and then the elegant surprise. I think the BG is marvellous.

Hi James, thanks for the history lesson on the last one.Love the story and i'm glad they reclaimed it for wildlife if it was just being left to rack and ruin, the wildlife deserve it more.Excellent shot.Take care.AnnSmile
