We normally go on our main holiday in September but we thought we would go at what we thought would be a hotter part of the year, wrong!
Out of two weeks holiday whilst staying in Horton we had torrential rain in the middle of July for seven or eight days.
This was taken at about 10.30 at night; if you look carefully you can see some people sheltering under the bridge in a boat.
Im glad I had a UV filter fitted to the lens as you can see the water droplets on the filter they have come out on the picture. I was going to clone them out but thought I would leave them for added effect.

You certainly got more mileage out of the bad weather than I did last year. Great atmospheric shot.

A dramatic picture James . I can see the trees moving in the wind .
None worse than the hurricane winds and rain over here at the moment . It woke me up at 3am. Found my lovely Blue Poppy snapped off this evening .Carried it in and put it in a jug of rain water .
Thank you for all the comments xx
