There is a very cruel tale that tells of a woman being driven north from Switzerland who reached down to take a tissue from her handbag and looked up to find that she had missed Liechtenstein.....Our summer was like that.

Definitely a bright spot in today's uploads!

Beautiful colourful shot John - definitely makes me look forward to what hopefully will be a good summer (as surely not everything will be bad about 2009 as forecast by the gloomy media!!!) As Lesley says, "very english country garden" Smile Pot of tea, cucumber sandwiches and cake!!

My garden chairs only got used once in the summer. I've used them more for photos of frost and cobwebs since though!!!
