Excellent image again John,a typical view of the countryside thru your eyes and a good lead via the track.

That squiggle in the distance as the track loops past the wall is so satisfying, a little touch of mystery. Great light again, honey-coloured warmth and long shadows, picking out the textures in path and foliage.
John, after yesterday's events can I thank you for the breath of fresh air that you've brought to the site, with natural, unforced pictures of a little-known part of this country. You don't try to create drama, you let the natural beauty of the landscape shine through. That takes skill but also love and local knowledge. There are a lot of people on the site who recognise and appreciate that. There are a few who never will because they are too busy airing their own egos in the forums. You're a genuine asset to the site.
